Morgan Peszko was born in Norfolk Virginia to a Navy family, relocating to 6 different states. While living in San Diego California, he began skating and turned professional at 16. After a few years of touring and competition, ankle/knee injuries caused an early retirement in 2001. “I started filming skating and hotel antics. There was no YouTube — the first bubble back Apple came out, my friend Tyler and I began digitally editing.” With no formal film education he spent over a decade working independently as a Cinematographer/Editor throughout Los Angeles.
“I learned by making many mistakes, I feel that’s kept me open to break rules both traditional and unconventional for a fresh picture…”.
Twenty years after buying his first camera, he launched his first film company Scene 7.
